What Is Energetic Meditation?

There are many types of meditation, all are valid for reducing stress and helping to focus:

This technique works with the intrinsic energy in your body.  It is ideal for those with a busy, stressful or active lifestyle as you can quickly learn to achieve a profound meditative state.  When this technique is learned it takes less than 20 minutes and with practice is extremely effective.

Increase your energy and ability to focus and filter out the nonsense that daily life can immerse you in.  The news is full of acts of violence.  Our world is full of national disputes, our country is divided by politics and social unrest.

You may feel that the hobbies or activities you would like to do take an energy that you don’t have.  After a hard day at work you have little energy and may prefer to have a drink or smoke and forget the headaches for a moment.

Can meditation actually help?  Yes, it can.

Numerous studies have shown meditation is a very effective tool for stress.  So, now is the time to see for yourself.  You only have your tension to lose.

Depression, Anxiety and Isolation

Depression and anxiety produces isolation in people:

These serious issues are now very common. You probably know many people who are taking anti-depressants or anti-anxiety medications. Naturally, a mental health issue that is the result of a traumatic incident will require professional therapeutic care.

However, let’s not minimize the stress that many feel due to the increasing demands of work, the pressure of economic uncertainty, or the worry of increasing violence in our society.  These stressors and pressures take their toll mentally, emotionally, and eventually physically.

Too often, many people turn to drugs and alcohol as coping mechanisms. Mostly because they do not see other viable alternatives. Meditation is often overlooked as too simplistic. Yes, it is simple but there is also a vast profundity to experience.

“Visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart.  Who looks outside dreams, who looks inside awakens.”

Carl Jung

Why Relaxation Is So Important!

The secret of profound meditation is learning to relax.

Learning to relax is itself a powerful tool.  So much of our energy is wasted with physical and mental tensions that we hold on to. Sometimes the tension causes problems with sleep; that can cause more tension the following day.  Letting go of that tension gives us energy to do other things.

The old joke about not wanting to relax over fear of not knowing who we are is quite real.  We often “know” ourselves by our system of tensions.  But, releasing these tensions can put us in touch with ourselves which then helps in making decisions about our life.

Try taking a few deep breaths, you might feel a small sense of relaxation. You may also feel that you are better able to think clearly. Many people take deep breaths instinctively when they need to clear their head or want to relax.

Using deep or full breathing is a simple yet profound tool for restoring your body and mind. Learning quick relaxation tools is very useful for living with the stress of everyday life.

In some moment of the day or night, inhale a breath of air and imagine that you direct this air to your heart. Then, ask with strength for yourself and for your loved ones.  Ask with strength to move away from all that brings you contradiction:  ask for your life to have unity.
